This mandoline came with simple, but straightforward instructions. It is very sharp and efficient at slicing and julienning a variety of fruits and vegetables. If you want nice thin slices of onion this is perfect for it as well which is what I’ve used it for so far. Rotate the dial a notch or two if you prefer thicker slices. The slices are perfect and uniform and you can also avoid the onion tears from hovering over the onions too long lol. Your eyes will thank you. All in all I think that for this price range it is a great deal and gets the job done. I think I may possibly try to cut cheese and meat with it. It also comes with a brush specifically designed to clean the blades . If you need something affordable, this fits the bill and will get the job done.

Sharp! This mandoline is great. I used it to make shoestring fries and slice up onions for rings to put on my burgers.
It saves time and is pretty easy to wash.
So far so good. This seems on par with what I'd get at a local brick and mortar store.

I usually favor items that are all-in-one due to its convenience, and plus, I don't like losing parts. So with this slicer, I have very few parts to remember. It's also very sharp. Very pleased with the purchase!

My first test was a tomato and on this thinnest setting cut it like nobody's business, every slice was consistent. Next was potato chips, again every slice was exactly the same as the one before I then cut some carrots Julienne and all were perfect.
A definite 5 star product.
I highly recommend this product to use as a home cook or a professional. Cleaning was very easy, just run under luke warm water and dry
